Our Name:
On April 17, 1929, Mikette Cuba was fined $100.00 for the crime of illegal fortune telling. She made the fatal mistake of accepting 25 Cents from an undercover policewoman for a look into the future.
From the late 1800's on, fortune telling tea rooms were all the rage among working class women throughout America. These Tea rooms flourished in big cities such as New York, and served as a major source of entertainment
Our premises has been completely renovated to harken back to the vintage glamour of the 1920's.
